BOYZONE: Stephen Gately a incetat din viata

Doliu in muzica internationala. Solistul trupei Boyzone, Stephen Gately, a incetat din viata ieri, in timp ce se afla in vacanta in Mallorca, alaturi de partenerul sau de viata, Andy Cowels.

Site-ul official al trupei, boyzone.net, a anuntat tragica veste, precizand totodata ca nu se cunosc alte detalii referitoare la ceea ce s-a intamplat cu Stephen.

“We are truly sorry to confirm that Stephen tragically died yesterday whilst on holiday, with his partner Andrew, in Majorca. We are unable to give any other details at this time. Ronan, Keith, Mikey & Shane are devastated by the news and send their deepest sympathies to Stephen's family and his many friends all over the world”, scrie boyzone.net.

Stephen Patrick David Gately avea doar 33 de ani si era de origine irlandez. A fost cantaret, compozitor si actor.

Wikipedia scrie ca deoacamdata cauza mortii este necunoscuta. Se pare ca Stephen ar fi iesit sa cumpere bautura, s-a intors, s-a culcat, dar nu s-a mai trezit niciodata.

“Gately's body was discovered on 10 October 2009 while on holiday in Majorca. The cause of death has yet to be determined, although it was reported that he had gone out for drinks, returned to his accommodation and fallen asleep, but never woke up”.
